What does non-medical senior care mean?

Non-medical senior care is help with everyday life at home: company, meals, housekeeping, errands, rides and medication reminders. It doesn't include nursing, wound care, injections or therapy. For medical care at home, ask your parent's doctor about a home health agency.

Original Medicare also generally doesn't pay for custodial care when it is the only care someone needs, so families usually arrange non-medical care themselves.
